We are two Rebeccas who started working together in 2021 when we opened our web design and development studio. Like many creatives we went into opening a studio with no business experience or education. We made many mistakes when it came to pricing and positioning. Behind the Scope started as a podcast and soon grew into a brand providing educational content across multiple channels.

Art Director and Managing Partner at Same Same Studio. She is super opinionated and sometimes blunt, which means you can always count on her being honest.
When she’s not creating content for Behind the Scope, working with creatives or managing client work, you’ll find her playing Sims, making YouTube videos, or learning Japanese just for fun. She is also happily outnumbered at home by her three cats.

Lead Developer and Managing Partner of Same Same Studio. With 6+ years of running a creative business, she knows both the highs and the lows of studio life.
She’s either hyper-focused to the point of forgetting basic needs or (a little) chaotic – there’s no in-between. Most days you’ll spot her commuting by bike (rain or snow), cooking, reading, or diving into her next short-lived obsession (RIP beads, Playstation, gym, bass guitar).
What always stays the same: a love of building new things, trying new things, and helping others do the same.
